The purpose of this article is to study the Behavioural Intentions of Banking Sector employees of Chennai. Strong literature review has identified Turnover Intention, Negligent Behaviour and Absenteeism as outcomes of organization politics due to influence of various independent variables like job attitude, job involvement etc on organizational politics. The researcher has made an attempt to study about turnover intention and absenteeism in order to give suggestions to the banking sector about the causes for the same in the organization. T-test has been done to find out the major reason contributing to the turnover intention & absenteeism and the results have been discussed.

This case is about a public hospital managed by a private medical college. Management of medical college decided to automate manual processing procedures of hospital. Medical and paramedical staff had no prior experience of heavy use of computer and adding to that no need analysis was conducted regarding the hospital automation, so as a result extreme resistance was faced by this project especially from the senior staff of the hospital. Planned change management process through formal practices of Project Management is the focus of this case. Rigorous requirement analysis and employees’ involvement in situations like this lead to successful change management outcomes. The case also highlights the importance of ownership of stake holder in a change initiative for its successful execution.

Employees are considered to be the most valuable assets of organization. In order to valuably utilize that asset their commitment level should be increased; and leadership style is one of the determinants which can influence the commitment level of the workforce. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of transformational leadership style on employee affective commitment in banking sector. 4 banks and 293 employees of the banks were selected for study purpose. Findings of the study show that there is significant and positive relation between transformational leadership and employees’ affective commitment. The study provides a tool to retain the employee by stimulating their level of affective commitment to the organization. This study recommended that leaders have to adapt transformational leadership style in order to increases the level of affective commitment in the employees of banking sector and provides practical implications for researches interested in exploring the employees commitment with respect to leadership in broader context.
